Key Dates & Timeline

Selection of the next Trustee Board · Online voting opens 25 October 2026

All dates are fixed in accordance with the CIO Constitution. Please diarise these now — late submissions cannot be accepted

5 July 2026 SUNDAY	Trustee Team Applications Open Applications open for teams wishing to stand as the next Trustee Board. A complete team of nine nominees must be formed. All nominees must already be Life Members and must have held registered membership continuously for a minimum of one year in accordance with the Constitution. Trustee nomination forms become available online. The current Trustees will review each application and formally confirm whether it is eligible to proceed, or reject it if the constitutional requirements are not satisfied.
19 July 2026 SUNDAY	Trustee Nomination Payments Open Each nominee within a proposed team of nine may make the required payment online. Payments must be made individually and in each nominee’s own name — combined or bulk payments are not permitted.
29 Aug 2026 SATURDAY	Trustee Nomination Deadline Final deadline for submission of complete Trustee Team nomination forms and all individual payments. All required documents and payments must be received by this date. Late submissions cannot be accepted
5 Sep 2026 SATURDAY	Candidate Team Presentations Confirmed teams present their experience, vision and commitment to the Sangat — giving members the opportunity to understand each team’s plans and objectives before voting begins. As set out within the CIO Constitution
6 Sep 2026 SUNDAY	Final Confirmed Teams Published The final list of Trustee Teams which have successfully satisfied all constitutional requirements will be published.
25 Oct 2026 SUNDAY	Online Voting Opens Eligible members will receive access to the secure online voting link. Voting remains open for seven days. Members vote for a complete team of nine Trustees.
1 Nov 2026 SUNDAY	Voting Closes & Results Announced Voting closes and the results will be announced at 1.00pm, following the Akhand Path Bhog.
